This Bean Curd stick is suitable for making braised stew dishes as its texture is harder as compared to the normal version.
Fried Beancurd Stick
The fried beancurd stick is preserved by frying in oil, hence it's more crispy as compared to the other versions. It's suitable for stew and meat dishes.
Fried Bean Curd Skin for Steamboat (炸豆皮)
You may find the fried beancurd skin served in steamboat restaurants. They are rolled into small portions for easy consumption. SG Dried Goods has it available in flat rectangular portions. You may either choose to cook it in a steamboat or add it in Bak Kut Teh, as it will soak up the flavours of the soup.
Dessert Bean Curd (糖水腐竹)
Dessert bean curd 三边 腐竹 糖水腐竹 is used for making ginkgo barley bean curd dessert. SGDriedGoods carry all the ingredients to make this dessert - barley, ginkgo nuts, dessert bean curd, rock sugar.
The texture is smooth and soft, and breaks into small pieces easily. Do not be overly concerned if the package has broken pieces. These pieces gives the dessert its smooth texture.
