Ngoh Hiang is a local Singaporean dish for deep fried meat rolls wrapped with bean curd skin. There are varying versions of the dish from different dialect groups, which consist of ingredients like  prawns, pork, water chestnut, five spice powder (五香粉), yam and onions. Each dialect group has their recipes passed down several generations.

Bean curd skin Preservation

SGDriedGoods carries the handmade dried bean curd skin. Salt is added to the manufacturing process to preserve the bean curd skin after the drying process. It is recommended to use a clean damp cloth to remove the salt and clean the bean curd skin. Please store the beancurd skin in the fridge to retain its freshness if you wish to keep it longer for more than one week.
